How travel is being impacted by the Ukraine invasion
ON
THURSDAY, the US government expanded the area near Ukraine where American
aviators cannot fly. The Federal Aviation Administration said it's publishing
an expanded notice to aviators that will" now cover the whole country of
Ukraine, the whole country of Belarus and a western portion of Russia."
Some
marketable airlines, including Lufthansa and Air France, had formerly suspended
breakouts to Ukraine before this week as pressures escalated.
Countries
including us and therefore the UK have advised their citizens to go away from Ukraine.
The
US government issued a trip advisory on February 12 warning against a trip to
Ukraine" due to the increased pitfalls of Russian military action" as
well as ongoing enterprises about Covid-19.
The
UK government also advises against all trips to Ukraine, explaining that "it
is likely that marketable routes out of Ukraine will be oppressively
disintegrated and roads across Ukraine could be closed."
The
European Union Aviation Safety Agency, known as EASA, has advised of a"
high threat" to mercenary aircraft flying near the Ukrainian border.
Then
is what we know about how to travel in Eastern Europe and Russia might be
impacted in the wake of the conflict.
