Latest travel rule changes for UK visitors to Greece, The Maldives, and more
Covid
trip rules are continuing to vary with numerous destinations further relaxing
restrictions for UK callers. Although the last major UK travel restriction was
dropped further than a fortnight ago-the day 2 test for vaccinated trippers
came to an endways February 11-other nations still have strict entry rules in
situ.
The rearmost study by the trip company Holiday Extras shows that the endless changes to regulations during the last twice have left holidaymakers so confused about the principles that almost 90 percent of them believe some or all of the old restrictions are still in situ.
In
a bean of individuals who had flown from a UK airport within the once 3 times,
Holiday Extras plant that only 12 percent were confident that each one of the
old rules had been abolished. Some 26 percent admitted they didn’t know what
checks were in situ, while 25 percent allowed the pre-departure tests were
still demanded.
Surprisingly,
10 percent of trippers polled allowed the red list was still in use, with seven
percent assuming that they had to insulate on return to the United Kingdom. Another
six percent allowed that each restriction, from red lists to day 2 and eight
tests, were still in situ.
Matthew
Pack, group principal superintendent at Holiday Extras, said “ if every
holidayer who allowed they still demanded a test to travel had bought one
within the fortnight since those tests were dropped, UK holidaymakers would
have wasted another£ 10million on tests they didn’t need.
"Quite
understandably after twice of constant disruptive changes to the trip rules,
utmost UK holidaymakers haven’t yet realized that overseas trip is enough much
back to normal now. The govt spent twice flashing the trip restrictions-it
should fall to them, not our beleaguered assiduity, to let people know the
restrictions have gone."
He
added "With a sprinkle of exceptions for countries that are still
unrestricted, substantially in Asia-Pacific, you'll continue vacation
immediately nearly as fluently as you will before the epidemic. It’s important
people don’t desolate time and plutocrat navigating trip rules that have come
to an end, or postpone much- demanded breaks because it’s still not clear
enough that the old restrictions are gone.”
