Spain agrees to accept Covid-19 recovery certificates

Spain has reversed plans to help transnational trippers using Covid-19 recovery instruments to enter the country.

The European Union had proposed a move to a system grounded on individualities rather than country of origin, with vaccination or recovery status used to permit entry.

The Spanish government was reportedly going to reject the plans and contend on full vaccination for all callers.

But that chain has been removed, according to streamlined Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office trip advice issued on Monday.

It said “ Trippers can now enter Spain by presenting attestation that certifies they've recovered from Covid-19 infection within the last six months.”

The FCDO added “ If you're traveling from the united kingdom to Spain for tourism purposes, aren't completely vaccinated but have recovered from Covid-19 within the last six months, you can also use a medical instrument or recovery record to prove your Covid-19 status on entry to Spain.

“ There are some different entry conditions for youngsters under 12 times old and people aged 12 to 17 inclusive.”

UK excursionists travelling to Spain must show valid evidence of being completely vaccinated a minimum of 14 days before appearance.

A Spanish health control form must be contended and a QR law shown on entry to the country.

The FCDO said “ you'll even be subject to fresh checks at the purpose of entry including a temperature check, visual health assessment, or testing on appearance.”

Passengers can also be communicated and needed to shoulder a Covid-19 test at any stress to 48 hours after their appearance in Spain.
