Brits looking to fly to Spain
in the coming months need to be apprehensive they now need redundant documents
to enter the country. Plenitude of us will be looking to fly down on vacation
as the summer duly kicks in.
But now the UK has left the EU, there are a number
of effects Brits need to make sure they've on hand and rules they must follow.
Chaos at Spanish gates took place before this time as UK trippers
demanded to get their passports stamped before
they were allowed to use thee-gates.
Still, rules state that Brits entering the country
will now need evidence of a return or onward ticket, enough plutocrat for their
stay, and evidence that they've nearly stayed in Spain. This includes evidence
needed includes hostel reserving documentation, evidence of address if visiting
your own property (e.g, an alternate home), or an assignation from your host or
evidence of their address if staying with a third party, musketeers, or family.
Callers will also need to prove they meet the Covid- 19 entry conditions.
People can do this by showing evidence of vaccination, a medical instrument or
recovery record showing recovery from Covid- 19 within the last six months, or
a negative PCR( taken within 72 hours prior to departure) or an antigen test(
taken within 24 hours). The Covid- 19 conditions don't apply to children under
12.
A passenger locator form is no longer needed to enter Spain. Foreign Office advice states “
You may also be subject to fresh checks at the point of entry including a
temperature check, visual health assessment, or testing on appearance. ” The Foreign Office has also reminded British trippers
that they will need to have their passports stamped on entry and exit from
Spain. This is due to the fact that the UK is no
longer part of the EU, with Brits needing to stick to the Schengen visa-free traveling
rules.
